At STEP we are engaged in developing global reports based on both global survey data and knowledge gathered through family business cases studies.
In our 2019 Global Family Business Survey has shown that Millennials Family CEOs are ready to take over and has shaped globally the importance of taking into account how differences in demographic cohorts impact family business succession and governance.
The insights from this report have been featured in the Wall Street Journal with specific reference to the debate on How to Get Children Interested in the Family Business.
The STEP Project is also a hub for business families across the globe to be connected and learning from one another.
The Affiliate institutions facilitate this by connecting research to practice and back.
Our STEP SUMMITS bring together researchers, family business owners/managers and practitioners in a unique event that generates learning, exchange, reflections and defines the way forward for both family business research and practice.
In 2020 STEP is also the International Award Winner at the Family Firm Institute (FFI) Annual Conference which recognizes an individual or organization for outstanding achievement in furthering the understanding of family business issues which occur between two or more countries.
